Troupe’s second release in collaboration with Martin Diwald is this skin contact blend from Wagram, Austria. Martin has wonderfully melded Sauvignon Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, and Riesling from his biodynamic vineyards to give a wine of incredible depth, texture and crazy aromatics - like peach iced tea with a michelada finish.

50 % Sauvignon blanc, 25% Grüner Veltliner, 25% Riesling.
30 year old, minimally pruned Sauvignon blanc from the Eisenhut vineyard. Hand harvested, Destemmed, spontaneously fermented on skins for 9 days, twice daily punchdowns by hand, very gently pressed into a 4th year French oak 600L barrel, 100% malolatic fermentation, unfiltered, unfined.
40 year old Riesling from the Altweingarten vineyard. Whole bunch pressed and spontaneously fermented in stainless steel, 100% malolactic fermentation, unfiltered, unfined.
40 year old Grüner Veltliner from the Altweingarten vineyard. Hand harvested, Destemmed, spontaneously fermented on skins for 9 days, softly pressed into 8th fill 500L acacia barrels, 1100% malolactic ferment. Unfined, unfiltered.

A skin contact to rule them all - peachy nose with pear and pineapple in the background. On the palate, the texture is silky and rich with a great freshness and smoky poblano chilli finish.
